Formed in 1970 by current owner Allen Johnson, we have grown to our current position as a well established, highly regarded and trusted company supplying all the North West area from our two locations: Tarleton near Preston ( Head Office and yard ) and Blackburn depot.

We strive to provide the highest possible standards of equipment and service via our large and extensive range of plant and tools, backed up by a committed staff and dedicated mobile controlled transport fleet which consists of five delivery wagons and four back up service vehicles, to enable a speedy and efficient on time service.

Johnson ( Plant Hire ) also offers a repair service for customers own equipment and can move the same from site to site as required.
We can also source new and used plant for sale.

The Johnson family also own a sister company ( Derbyshires ) based in Southport, specialising in sales of hand and power tools, fixings, PPE, access equipment and much more!
